PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: August 2026

Load Zeta ("we", "us") provides load tracking and income reporting software for commercial drivers in the United States. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions: support@loadzeta.com

1. Information We Collect

Account information. Your phone number - this is required, because it is how you sign in - along with your first and last name, and optionally an email address, a profile photo, and your preferred language. Accounts created before phone sign-in may also have a username and password. Business information you enter. Loads (pickup and delivery locations, dates, miles, rates, accessorial pay), deductions, business expenses, weekly settlement records, your pay model and rate, and any hired-driver arrangement you configure. Telegram information. If you link the Load Zeta bot, we store your Telegram user ID and the messages you send to the bot - including rate confirmations you forward, so we can parse them into loads. Technical and security information. Your IP address, browser and device information, and timestamps for security-relevant events: sign-ins, failed sign-in attempts, phone and password changes, consent records, and administrative actions taken on your account. These are kept in a security audit log. Messaging records. A record that a text message was sent to your number, what it was for (for example, a verification code), and when. We do not retain verification codes after they expire. Billing information. Your subscription plan and status, your Paddle customer and subscription identifiers, and billing metadata such as amounts and dates. We never receive, see, or store your card number or any other payment credential. What we do not collect. We do not collect your device's GPS or precise location, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not use advertising cookies.

2. How We Use Information

- To operate the service: create your account, sign you in, and store and calculate your loads, pay, deductions, expenses and settlements. - To verify your identity by sending a one-time code to your phone. - To notify you through the Telegram bot, when you have linked one. - To manage your trial, subscription and billing through Paddle. - To keep the service secure: detect abuse, investigate suspicious sign-ins, and carry out account deletion requests. - To respond to you when you contact support. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Text Messages (SMS)

When you create an account you give express consent to receive text messages from Load Zeta at the number you provide. We send: - One-time codes when you sign in or verify your phone number. - Security alerts about your account. - Occasional service notices about your trial or subscription. We do not send marketing text messages. Message frequency varies with your use of the service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Please note that sign-in codes are delivered by text, so opting out will prevent you from signing in.

4. Who We Share Information With

We share only what each provider needs in order to do its job: - Twilio - your phone number and the message content, to deliver text messages. - Telegram - if you link the bot, the messages exchanged with it. Our database backups are also delivered to a private channel we control, which means backup copies of your data are stored on Telegram's infrastructure. - Paddle.com Market Limited - our Merchant of Record, which handles payment processing, sales tax and payment security. Paddle's own Privacy Policy (paddle.com/legal/privacy) governs their handling of your payment data. - Open-Meteo - when the weather panel is switched on, your browser requests the forecast for the city of your active load. No account information is sent. - Our hosting provider - which operates the server where the application and database run. We will also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. When an account is closed, your data is permanently deleted from our live systems within 90 days, and backup copies age out of our backup rotation after that. During that 90-day window you can export everything yourself (Settings > Data Export) or ask us at support@loadzeta.com. Security audit records may be kept longer where we need them to investigate abuse or to meet a legal obligation.

6. How We Protect Information

All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Where accounts still use passwords, those passwords are stored hashed and are never readable by us. Access to production systems is limited to the operator of the service. You can review and revoke your own active sessions at any time from Settings > Active Sessions. No online service can promise perfect security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you, and any authority we are required to notify, without undue delay.

7. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: - Know what personal information we have collected about you, and how we use and disclose it. - Access a copy of that information in a portable format. - Correct inaccurate personal information. - Delete your personal information. - Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share it, so there is nothing to opt out of. - Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not offer different prices or service levels based on whether you exercise them. You can exercise access and deletion yourself in Settings, using Data Export and Delete Account. You may also email support@loadzeta.com from the address on your account, and we will verify your identity before acting. An authorized agent may act on your behalf with your written permission. We respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need more time. Categories of personal information collected in the last 12 months, in CCPA terms: identifiers (phone number, name, email address, IP address, account and Telegram identifiers); commercial information (subscription and billing records); internet or other network activity (device and browser information, sign-in events); and professional or employment-related information (your loads, pay and business expenses). Every category is collected from you or from your own use of the service, and is used for the purposes described in Section 2.

8. Residents of Other US States

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws - including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah and Texas - have comparable rights to access, correct, delete and port their information. Use the same methods described in Section 7.

9. Children

Load Zeta is a business tool for commercial drivers and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, write to support@loadzeta.com and we will remove it.

10. Where Your Data Is Processed

Load Zeta is operated from the United States, and your information is stored and processed there.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this policy and, where the change affects your rights, ask you to review and accept the updated terms the next time you sign in.
